Kim Jong Il - Portrait Painting by Sam Spratt
Since there seems to be confusion—the writing on the face is not my thoughts (I thought that was fairly clear)—it’s the synthesized reactions on a mass-scale across social media and the media itself. His death was basically treated how frat boys treat their drunk passed out friend and I felt—rather than contribute to the endless waves of bad jokes and hostility—I’d try to hold a mirror up. There’s no doubting the man’s evil—but many (myself included) often respond to that by pissing on graves rather than simply being hopeful for ended corruption.

“Dragon Sketch” by Sam Spratt
It being the beginning of the Year of the Dragon (which happens to also coincide with my birth year of 1988),I figured it was as good of an excuse as any to draw the giant fiery velociraptors of the Sky
rim.
